The first floor of Discovery Express will be the home of “His Kids Preschool” for area preschool

children. The first floor is dedicated to depicting local history and culture from the past to the present.

There will also be a museum book store filled with great gifts and resources.

 

The second floor of Discovery Express will house a unique history and science museum. It will

feature interactive exhibits designed for all ages. Guests will explore the days of creation, the “Garden

of Eden,” Noah’s Ark, and the Tower of Babel. There will be opportunities to learn how science and

history confirm that the Bible is trustworthy and accurate in all that it teaches.

 

Also on the second floor will be a resource library for members to borrow materials that will help

them to further their learning. A science lab where members may use microscopes and other lab

equipment will be on the second floor to conduct “hands on” investigations of the world God has

created.

 

The third floor, with its incredible view, will be a great place for hosting banquets and birthday

parties. The Banquet Hall and Conference Center will have ample room for hosting these events and

others such as seminars and conferences. The third floor will also house the museum offices.

 

The Pettit River Walk will be adjacent to the 4-story “Tower of Babel” anthropological center. The

River Walk will provide a relaxing atmosphere for visitors who wish for a leisurely stroll (or perhaps an

opportunity to reflect on God’s Creation). The walk will feature flora and fauna from northern Indiana

and will showcase the beautiful Elkhart River which flows right through downtown Ligonier.
